Welcome to The Art of Well-Being

Explore a creative path to healing through expressive psychotherapy, including art, sports, movement and more

The Art of Well-Being, created by the owners of True Mind + Body, is a therapy practice dedicated to helping children and families thrive through alternative, cutting-edge expressive methods that truly work—especially for kids who do better in active or creative settings. We integrate psychotherapy with movement, art, sports, and other mind-body approaches to support healing, growth, and balance. Our goal is to offer a supportive, engaging space where children can build resilience, develop emotion regulation and social-emotional skills, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful change.

Expressive Services We Offer

At The Art of Well-Being, we believe children thrive when therapy feels active, creative, and engaging. Our expressive services are designed to meet kids where they are—helping them learn, grow, and heal in ways that feel natural and fun.

  • inMotion Therapy
InMotion Therapy is play therapy with a twist—integrating sports, movement, and games with science-backed approaches to help kids regulate emotions, build confidence, and connect in ways that feel engaging. By using the body as well as the mind, children develop tools to grow, heal, and thrive.
  • Art Therapy
Art Therapy uses creativity and self-expression—through drawing, painting, and other art forms—to help children process emotions, reduce stress, and build confidence.
  • Dance & Movement Therapy
Dance & Movement Therapy encourages self-expression and emotional awareness through guided movement, supporting body awareness, self-esteem, and resilience.
  • Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy blends gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to help kids manage stress, develop coping skills, and feel more calm and centered.
