Claire earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Prior to joining True Mind + Body, she completed her clinical internship at a community mental health center, where she provided individual therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
At True Mind + Body, Claire provides talk therapy with a focus on tweens, adolescents, and young women experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, family and peer relationship challenges, and identity development. She values supporting clients through the social, emotional, and developmental changes that accompany adolescence and early adulthood, helping them build insight, confidence, and healthy coping strategies.
Claire believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective therapy. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and accepted while working collaboratively toward their goals. Her approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy, integrating evidence-based strategies with a collaborative and supportive approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Outside of the therapy room, Claire enjoys staying active, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She values the connection between physical and mental health and believes that caring for both is an important part of overall well-being.
