Psychotherapist – Adolescents, Adults & Families (Full-Time, W-2)

True Mind + Body is seeking a full-time psychotherapist to join our collaborative team as a W-2 employee, providing outpatient therapy to adolescents, adults, and families. This role is well-suited for clinicians who value evidence-based care, clinical depth, and working within a supportive, team-oriented environment. This position is primarily in person, with limited hybrid flexibility depending on client needs and clinical appropriateness.


Position Overview

  • Provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults, and family therapy as appropriate

  • Utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, etc. integrated with relational and developmentally informed care

  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and documentation

  • Collaborate with families and collateral providers when clinically indicated

  • Maintain a caseload that yields an average of 20-25 weekly client sessions


Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

  • Licensed or provisionally licensed in Illinois (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)

  • Training or experience in CBT and evidence-based interventions

  • Experience or interest in working with adolescents and families

  • Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and warmth

Location/Transportation:

  • This position is based onsite in Northbrook, IL. Reliable access to a car is strongly recommended, as public transportation options to our location are limited.
