Anxiety Specialist
True Mind + Body is hiring a Full or Part-Time Anxiety Specialist (a minimum of 25 hours per week). This person will work with individuals of all ages. This person should have a commitment to utilizing empirically supported, proven interventions to treat anxiety and other related disorders. This person will be an Independent Contractor.
Areas of Expertise Requested:
- CBT (Cognitive-behavioral therapy) and BT (Behavioral Therapy)
- ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)
- Specialized experience in working with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Specific Phobias, Social Phobia, Separation Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Major Depression, and Repetitive Body Focus Disorders (Trichotillomania/Chronic Skin Picking).
- Significant experience treating anxiety with clients across the lifespan (childhood through adulthood)
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Clinical License in their field (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LCPC)
- Must have current and valid malpractice insurance
- Must have a willingness and passion for working on a multidisciplinary team through a collaborative approach
- A passion or interest in health and wellness is a HUGE BONUS!

Full-Time or Part-Time Male Therapist:
True Mind + Body is hiring a Full-Time or Part-Time Male Therapist (a minimum of 25 hours per week). This person will work mainly with pre-teen and teenage boys as well as with adults and families. This person should have a commitment and willingness to work with children and teens through our “Active Therapy” program as well as through a traditional talk-therapy approach. (“Active Therapy” is for pre-teens and teenagers who would benefit from therapy in a more active, sporty environment rather than a formal office setting. Active Therapy combines movement-based activities such as shooting hoops, playing ping-pong, and working on art projects with talk therapy. Traditional talk therapy can sometimes feel awkward and intimidating for t(w)eens. By shifting the focus from a more structured, face-to-face environment to a fun and energetic activity, kids have more success in therapy.)

- Significant experience treating pre-teen and teenage specific issues
- Significant experience with treating individuals across the lifespan (childhood through adulthood)
